Too Cute!

I thought Megan looked too cute this morning, so we tried for a photo shoot. She really wasn't interested. :-) She was getting sleepy and was much more interested in her paci and getting ready for a nap...but I still say she looks adorable!

First "Ponytail"!

Ok, so maybe this is a bit of a stretch, but if you look at her bow, you should be able to see a little puff of hair coming out the top--Megsie's first ponytail! She was so happy and playful tonight. Her daddy was making her smile a lot, so I had a chance to concentrate on the camerawork and actually caught some of these smiles! Oh, and the first one I had to post because I love how the rear end of this darling outfit, given to us by a friend of mine, is a different color. It makes me laugh! And don't worry--though she is not "belted" in, Daddy was right beside her!

Changing Table Talk

Megan loves, loves, loves to "talk" while we change her diaper...and before...and after. I think this girl likes the sound of her voice! :-)

Birth Announcement

We were gifted with Megan's beautiful birth announcements by my friend from college, Karie, who is now doing some photography and also card design (announcements, Christmas cards, other holiday cards, etc.). She sent me several designs, and we picked our favorite. I think it was fun for all of us. My favorite thing is that I purposefully used the same Bible verse that my parents printed on my birth announcement, which was chosen by my grandfather. Very special! I'm sure Karie would love to help design cards for anyone else out there...see her site (click on "The Lee Family" on the right, my list of friends). She is able to use any jpg pics you are able to email her.

She discovered herself in the mirror today and was quite captivated! She even "talked" to herself, which was cute.

I'm Not Having Good Luck These Last Few Days...

Every time I put the camera up to my face, Megan gets this look on her face like "again?!?!"...and RIGHT after I snap the picture, she breaks out into this beautiful smile. EVERY TIME. I don't know if she likes the flash or the clicking sound or what?! Anyway, I still think she looks adorable, even if she does wonder why we take so many pictures. :-)

First Shots and a Mobile...

Megan had her first shots today. YUCK. But fortunately she is braver than her Momma, so she seems ok...maybe a little fussy, but so far she is doing alright. I think she has every right to be fussy. I'm fussy just thinking about getting shots, and I'm an adult! I decided to break out her crib mobile tonight, and she loved it. She was talking to the animals for a while. Too cute! Here are some shots of her with her new "friends" and her Bugs Bunny band-aids...

Christmas Tree is FINISHED for this year...

We stuck with our red, white, and silver theme. I did add a few new ornaments, including this one for Megan, plus a bow and four streamers of red and silver ribbon. It's so fun having the tree and Christmas decorations up, and it's even more fun watching the fascination Megan has with all the new decor!

Trying for 2 Month Pics!

Megan actually turned two months old two days ago, but any pictures of her in the last couple of days have not turned out well for some reason. Today I was determined to have a photo shoot of some sort, but as soon as I put her down on the couch, she turned her head and tried to sleep (as you see here). So, the next shots she kinds of looks sleepy-headed...and that's because she was still sleepy-headed, but she's the cutest sleepyhead I know. :-)

Our Friend the Fan...

This morning, Megan was "talking" to the fan and giving it big smiles! This was while I was trying to get her dressed. I finally "caught" all the wiggling feet, legs, and arms and got her dressed...then she went into her trance watching the fan while I tried to get her attention for pictures. Obviously, I can't compete with a fan. :-)

Obviously, we have much to be thankful for this year--a perfectly healthy little bundle named Megan. There is so much more, though, that we are grateful for, because of what God has done for us this year and every year of our lives. We hope that you and your families enjoy this day of giving thanks and that we'll all take a moment to truly consider the many blessings we've been given. Megan wanted to share the message of Thanksgiving personally...(she's watching the ceiling fan, by the way...so fascinated!). :-)
